you should use decorations for rides like the boat hire. Make beautiful trees and place land in the water and put fountians on them. If you desire you can make narrow areas of water to make the ride more river like.
For your water slides you should make them go through many tunnels but make sure the length of the slide is long and test it before you allow people on it. Water slides are the trickiest ride and can fly off the slide any time because they are not like other rides which are held on by rails.
